Residential Moves
Let Our Family Move Your Family—Local or Long Distance
For a free estimate of your upcoming residential move we will come to your location and give an on-site estimate or you can call our office at (205) 972-0744 or use our online estimate form.
Local moves within a 30 mile radius of Birmingham are performed on an hourly basis. This rate includes two movers, a truck, furniture pads, and appliance dolly. There is no extra charge for the equipment after we arrive at your move site. We are licensed, insured, bonded and carry Worker’s Compensation. There is a two hour minimum charge on moves. The time starts when the truck leaves our home base and ends when it returns, so there is a drive time.
Moves outside the 30 mile radius of Birmingham, but within the state of Alabama, are performed on the rate structure mandated to all authorized intrastate movers by the Alabama Public Service Commission (APSC). Call for details.
Long distance moves are performed on a fixed fee basis, according to our tariff.
